Terms of service

Those terms of service contain important information on what you can expect when commissioning me and what you are allowed to do with the artwork. By commissioning me, you are automatically agreeing to those terms. If you are unsure of something or if you have a question about something not covered here, please contact me (Uwny#1783 on discord or dm me via instagram or deviantart).

I will draw

  • animals (canine, feline(1), horses, reptiles…)

  • fantasy creatures, monsters….

  • humans / humanoid(2)

  • fanart

  • blood and gore

I won't draw

  • anthro3

  • nsfw or explicit content

  • hateful content

(1) If you commission me a domestic cat, you’ll get a 10% discount on the total price, as I draw them in a simplified way, with less details.(2) You’ll get a 20% discount on the total price for humans commission as I'm less used to drawing them.(3) Might be ok for a headshot / portrait though.

WORKING PROCESS

When commissioning me, please :

• Indicate what type of commission you want, referring to my price sheet (sketch, fully rendered, portrait, fullbody….). If you want a type of commission not listed in my price sheet (no shading, no colors...), it is also possible if you explain to me clearly what you want.• Include reference pictures, or toyhouse link of your character. The colors and marking need to be clearly visible. If you don’t have any visual representation of your character, I accept written descriptions and real life pictures but your character design needs to be fairly simple and you have to allow me some interpretation of your design (for the colors for instance).• You can describe me the pose, expression, background, mood that you want for the artwork. Photo references or sketches you made are greatly appreciated as it allows me to better see what you want. If you don’t have any particular idea in mind, you can give me full artistic freedom and I'll draw what I see fit.Please note that I have the right to refuse any commission I'm not comfortable doing.

• Once everything is agreed between us i’ll ask for your paypal address and i’ll send you a paypal invoice.• I start working on the piece once I've received the full payment and when I'm done with the work before yours.• For illustrations, I usually send you several very rough sketches for you to choose the one you like best. I have the right to re-use the unwanted sketches for a YCH or another commission.• For all types of commission, I might send a refined sketch just before the lineart. Please tell me at this stage if you want any modifications, as it will be much harder to do them later on. Once you agree on the sketch, I will not make any major modifications.• Please inform me beforehand if you don't want to be sent any sketches at all, so you have the surprise of the final result.• At this stage, I will work to complete the artwork and won’t send you any work in progress, unless you ask for it.

FINAL ARTWORK AND MODIFICATION REQUESTS

• When the artwork is completed if you don’t like something, please tell me right away. It is possible I made a mistake on your character design or that you don’t like the colors etc. I want you to be happy with the final product, so I prefer that you are honest with me if something bothers you.• Be as precise and explicit as you can and I'll do the modifications according to what you want. If you are still not satisfied, I can do the modifications a second time but after that, I won't do any more changes. Note that I won't be able to do any major changes (position, redrawing entire elements…)• Commissions are usually completed within a month or two. Feel free to ask for any updates.

You will receive the artwork in full resolution in jpeg or png format
You can request for the image in a different format.I can offer different versions of the artwork if you ask for it :

  • isolate your character on a transparent background for some illustrations, if the fullbody is clearly visible

  • do a blood / no blood version

PAYMENTS AND REFUNDS

Payment is via paypal only, in EUR. I will send you an invoice. The full payment is expected upfront. I won’t do payment plans.I retain the right to cancel any commission for personal reasons. In that case, the client will be fully refunded, unless it was due to a violation of those TOS by the client. If so, the client will not be refunded and be blacklisted.If you want to cancel a commission, you won't be refunded unless:

  • The commission has not been started. In that case, you will receive a full refund.

  • Only the sketch has been completed. In that case, you’ll be refunded 80% of the total price and receive the sketch.

  • In any other cases there will be no refund. I will finish the commission and deliver it but it will be really awkward for both of us, so be sure you really want to commission me before ordering.

USE OF THE ARTWORK

As the artist, I retain the rights of the image. I have the right to post your commission on my social media or in my portfolio. If you do not wish me to disclose the artwork before a certain date, please inform me upfront.You are allowed to use the artwork for personal purposes : reposting it on social media with proper credit, using it as wallpaper, printing it for your use. You're not allowed to alter the image, removing my copyright or selling merchandise with it.Using my art for commercial purposes, NFT or else is strictly prohibited.
